The Book Room LOVES our teachers!

We offer teachers at all Wilkes County Schools 15% OFF ALL PURCHASES.  This includes all Elementary, Middle, and High Schools as well as Preschools, Daycares, and the Community College`.  Just show your school ID during checkout!  If you don’t have an ID, you must show proof of employment somehow.

Bulk Purchases

Purchasing a class set for your classroom or multiple books for the library? Email us at TheBookRoomNC@gmail.com. Include the following

  • Your name
  • Your School
  • List of Books and the number of copies
  • Any other important information that we may need to know!

We will contact you back with a quote for a discounted bulk purchase. 

*Teacher discount does not stack with other discounts.  You will receive the better discount at checkout. 

School Book Fairs

Bring the joy of reading to your school with a locally owned, full-service book fair!

Founded by former educator Erica Marsh and her sister Holly Piotrowski, The Book Room is committed to supporting literacy, educators, and students throughout our community.

We partner with schools in Wilkes and surrounding areas to create engaging book fairs that connect students with books they'll love while supporting local schools and literacy.

Support Your School

Schools may choose one of the following fundraising options:

  • 15% of total sales paid directly to the school
  • 20% of total sales as store credit for books, classroom libraries, educator resources, and more
