Publishing Student Work
Erica MarshShare
I have the absolute pleasure to lead a session at this year's Academic Innovation Conference through Gear Up. This blog post is meant as a resource for those that attended my session, but if you find it helpful, great!
Last year, we published a book called Voices of Home. It was a collection of poetry, short stories, art, and photographs from people who live in Wilkes. It was definitely a learning experience with self publishing. Hopefully, what I experienced will be helpful to you in the classroom!

Comment your great ideas for student publishing!
*Note: This is not an endorsement to self publish your own work. Most bookstores will not carry self published work as they are usually not edited and contain errors. We only self published our book as we have no plans to sell it outside of our own store. If you are wanting to publish a book, I highly suggest researching the best way to publish your work.
